    WiO Hosts Movie Night

    The OSC Women in Optics student group is hosting a special media club session tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the Franken Conference Room. They're scheduled to show "Waiting for 'Superman,'" a 2010 documentary about some of the challenges within the American public school system.

    There will be snacks.

    Chaix Wins Award for Paper

    Cecile Chaix, a Ph.D. student in Lars Furenlid's lab, received second place last week in the Medical Imaging Conference division of the IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference in Anaheim, Calif., for her paper "The AdaptiSPECT Pinhole Aperture."
