WELCOME, HEATHER & BRANDI

May 24, 2021

A big welcome to two new administrative associates members at the Wyant College, Heather Liber and Brandi Klein-Filling

Heather joins us as a new administrative associate. She was previously working at the university's Center for Innovation in Brain Science. She has been with the University of Arizona for 21 years. That time was spent at various departments in the Colleges of Agriculture, Pharmacy, Medicine, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Cancer Center and Procurement and Contracting. Heather is an alumnus of UArizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. She received her Master’s in Administration from Northern Arizona University. She loves to help people achieve their goals and planning special events. Off campus you can find her and her husband, Brent; running, bicycling, photographing nature, or visiting Disneyland and Disney World.

Heather will assist a group of faculty members and will also provide administrative support to the Dean’s Office to include calendaring, ordering office supplies, purchasing, UAccess Financial transactions and UAVitae.  In addition, Heather will also manage the OSC conference room reservation calendar, the key desk, coordinating the Annual Staff Recognition & Holiday Luncheon and assist in the OSC Colloquium Lecture Series. You can find Heather in the Dean’s Office Room 704. Contact her at 621-5788, email: hliber@optics.arizona.edu

Brandi is a native Tucsonan and has also lived in Vail and Phoenix as well as in Michigan and Texas. She joins the Wyant College as a new administrative associate after four years at the Arizona Historical Society as an administrative officer. Brandi will assist a group of academic and research professors and their research teams. Brandi is looking forward to learning more about the many projects taking place at OSC and meeting so many different people.

Brandi played college softball in Phoenix and while she loved her time in Michigan and Texas she's been happy to move back to Tucson to escape the cold weather and tornados. She enjoys family-game nights and outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and fishing.

Find Brandi in Room 719 and you can contact her at 626-3672, email:klein4@optics.arizona.edu.
