Welcome to Julissa and Samantha
Wyant College is pleased to welcome two new administrative staff.
Samantha Staltari
Samantha joins the college as a new administrative associate. She grew up in Prescott, AZ but moved to Tucson in her teen years then graduated from the UArizona summa cum laude with a BS in Information Science and Technology and a minor in Educational Psychology. While studying Samantha was a student-employee working in UArizona Admissions as a Section Leader for the School of Information. Samantha is very excited to get started in her professional career at her alma mater and is very excited to work with Wyant College's faculty, staff and students. Samantha also shared more about her hopes for the future saying, "I am passionate about making data-focused decisions, which was a major focus of my undergraduate studies dealing with data analytics and information. In my career, I hope to continue to be focused on how we can use data to drive us towards a better world." Samantha is a big fan of Disney movies and animation and loves playing video games.
Fun fact! Samantha also participated in the Disney College Program while attending UArizona. She spent six months living at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL while working in retail selling lightsabers and buildable droids in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. Julissa Alvarez
Julissa also joins the college as a new administrative associate. She hails from a small town in southern Arizona called San Luis. In 2019 Julissa moved to Tucson to start her BA in Public Health and decided she didn't want to leave after graduating! Julissa is very excited to work with a diverse team of professionals and learn from all the other admins and their great experience. Julissa hopes to grow her professional career in administrative roles in higher education and will be pursuing higher education at Eller College of Management, starting her master's program this Fall with them. Julissa loves to bake, dance, and travel.
