Wyant College Student, Walter Rahmer, Works on UArizona CatSat Space Mission

Wyant College Undergraduate, Walter Rahmer, is participating as an undergraduate integration testing engineer with the UArizona CatSat mission. A project with Wyant College and Astronomy Professor Chris Walker and other faculty, the team of students has readied CatSat, a small satellite known as a CubeSat, for launch into space later this year.

Derek Burrell Selected as Fulbright U.S. Scholar for 2023-2024 for Israel

Wyant College PhD student, Derek Burrell, has been selected as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar for 2023-2024 for Israel. Starting in January 2024, Derek will be conducting postdoctoral research on characterizing and denoising hyperspectral imagery for superresolution tracking through scattering media.
