Superlative Staff: 3rd Quarter Peer to Peer
Congratulations to Wyant College's latest Staff Recognition Award winner! Cyndy Barcelo was nominated by three Wyant College staff members for the 3rd Quarter Peer-to-Peer award: Emily Davis, Caitlyn Keefe, and Belinda McCleese.
Cyndy was presented with a certificate for her accomplishments and contributions and will receive $250.
Belinda shared:
"Cyndy is a manager who supports and encourages her team by fostering an environment where there is open and honest communication. There has never been a time when I've gone to her for help that she doesn't stop what she is doing to teach and walk me through the problem to find a solution. Cyndy teaches by word and example...Cyndy is an exceptional leader who works hard, shares her knowledge and whose enthusiasm is contagious. I am thankful that I get to work and learn from an amazing woman."
Caitlyn shared:
"Cyndy consistently is available for not only her direct team, but any department in the college that has questions. She has created an environment where the administrative team can go to her or the other accountants with questions but also helps creates tools and systems so that all departments can learn...I have always felt supported and feel like our team works so well because of the leader above us. Cyndy is very humble in her job, but she does so deserve to be recognized for her hard work and huge contribution to the college."
Emily shared:
"Cyndy always goes above and beyond to help us understand policy and compliance--regularly performing beyond expectations. She is very consistent and reliable in her work, producing high-quality work. Cyndy is the best!! She is always going the extra mile."
