          JOHN HAYES PUBLIC TALK "ENGINEERING A REMOTE IMAGING TELESCOPE"

          As part of José Sasián's and Ron Liang's OPTI 617 course, Adjunct Research Professor John Hayes will present a special talk, "Optics Adventures During the Pandemic: Engineering a Remote Imaging Telescope." Everyone is invited to join.

          Malia Hargrove isn't only a Wyant College optical sciences sophomore student. She's a talented Arizona GymCat as well! At the recent NCAA Regionals Malia achieved a career-high score of 9.900 that launched her off to the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, TX.

          10TH ANNUAL LASER FUN DAY SMASHING SUCCESS

          The amazing students of SOCk and the Wyant College have done it. A spectacular and educational, 100% virtually-offered Laser Fun Day was presented on Saturday, April 17, reaching nearly 500 viewers on Facebook Live and viewers on the official Laserfunday.org website.             An exciting optical sciences outreach event recently took place at Wasilla High School in Wasilla, AK. Laura Anderson, past Research Specialist at the Wyant College, facilitated the fun event.
