    Oschmann, M.S. 1983, Selected as Alumnus of the Year

    The College of Optical Sciences has announced Jacobus (Jim) Oschmann as its 2014 Alumnus of the Year Award winner. Oschmann earned an M.S. degree from OSC in 1983 and an MBA from UA's Eller College of Management in 2003 and currently serves as vice president and general manager of civil space and technology at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp.

    Oschmann is being honored for significant contributions to optical design and technology development. He delivered the college's Nov. 6 Colloquium lecture and will be recognized alongside other notable UA alumni in a Nov. 7 ceremony during UA's 100th Homecoming celebration
