The Class of 2026 celebrated their graduation and induction into Wyant College's distinguished alumni ranks on May 14th, 2026. Congratulations to the graduating students, their families, instructors, and advisors. High-resolution images are available.

Laser Fun Day 2026 attracted over 350 visitors and was made possible by over 100 student and faculty volunteers. On the day of the event, the building was filled with hands-on activities and demonstrations that showcased the amazing world of optics.

Congratulations Dr. Travis Sawyer, assistant professor at the Wyant College of Optical Sciences, on being named a Fulbright U.S. Scholar, supporting international research and academic exchange.

Judith Su has been named a recipient of the 2026 Convergence Award: Excellence in Research and Creative Activity in the category of Applied Research and Engineering, one of the University of Arizona’s highest honors recognizing research excellence.
