What is Laser Fun Day?
Laser Fun Day (LFD) is a free, annual, public community event hosted by the Student Optics Chapter at the University of Arizona, Wyant College of Optical Sciences. LFD gives our community, particularly the youth, a chance to see how optics is changing the world and hopes to inspire the future of the optics industry. Admission is free and open to the public.
You can Still Volunteer!
Don't forget, you can STILL volunteer for this amazing event! We are looking for volunteers to help run, set up, and break down demos. All volunteers will be provided with a free shirt and food at this event. Also, talk to your lab instructor. Many courses offer extra credit for students who volunteer. Sign up to volunteer (no prior outreach experience required & many different ways to help!)
