Dr. Muralidhar Madabhushi is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Arizona. He leads coherent imaging efforts in the Computational 3D Imaging and Measurement Lab and holds leadership roles on several projects funded by federal and industry partners. His research lies at the intersection of computational imaging and coherent imaging, with a particular focus on imaging through disorder. He has extensive experience in the design and development of advanced coherent imaging and laser-based optical systems for applications including non-line-of-sight imaging, imaging through tissue, and free-space optical communications. His dissertation work integrated tunable diode lasers, neuromorphic focal-plane arrays, and computational processing techniques to enable imaging through heavily scattering media. His research has also advanced the use of neuromorphic cameras for computational imaging, including the first demonstration of combining laser speckle with neuromorphic cameras to probe densely scattering media like tissue.
